What is this course about?

In this course, you will develop a robot that can find its way out from a maze of puzzling lines. The robot moves through the maze arena using infra-red optical sensors. When it detects a junction, the bot intelligently decides the path using a special algorithm. The programming logic is fed into the robot’s brain (microcontroller) so that it can zip through to the end point.

By making your own maze solver robot, you’ll practically learn how to program a robot to logically solve problems. You’ll also learn to develop a line follower robot using sensors and microcontrollers.

Course Outcomes

• Build a robot that can solve mazes
• Understand maze-solving theory and Arduino programming logic
• Test infrared sensors and learn how they sense light
• Understand the structure and working of Arduino Uno
• Learn how motors, sensors and microcontrollers work for maze-solving function

Kit Content

All the above components would be provided during the program to participants in groups of 5 but would be taken back at the end.

Participants registering in groups of 5 will get take-home kit for free. Take-home kit consists of all the above items excluding the items marked with *.
